Dr. Richard Rafferty
Veterinarian
Richard Rafferty earned 3 degrees with high honors from Texas A&M. B.S. in Poultry Science, M.S. in Immunology, and DVM (Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 1993)
Following an externship at the Houston Zoo, he came to Austin to begin a career in companion animal medicine. Over the next few years, he narrowed his focus to specialize exclusively in canine and feline internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.
Dr. Rafferty has been married to Lisa Rafferty since 1993, and they are blessed with 2 children – twins – Thomas and Ellie. Dr. Rafferty practiced in Northwest Austin for many years before moving his family to Circle C and eventually opening Circle C Animal Hospital in 2007.
Dr. Rafferty believes strongly in the power of the human-animal bond. He believes that companion animals, through unconditional love, nurture their human companion’s health, heart, and soul. He loves working together with clients to provide the best possible care for their beloved companions.
When at home, Dr. Rafferty loves spending time with Lisa, Thomas, & Ellie, playing basketball, fishing, and reading.
Dr. Rafferty is an active member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the American Academy of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA).
Dr. John Clint Duncan
Dr. Clint Duncan followed his father into the Veterinary profession when he earned his DVM from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After graduation, he went to Houston to begin his career and eventually open his own hospital.
In 2017, Dr Duncan moved his family to Austin, finally planting roots in the Circle C neighborhood. Here, he resides with his wife, Melissa, and their 3 wonderful children. He joined the Circle C Animal Hospital family in 2019.
He loves to spend time outdoors doing outdoorsy things and coaching his boys in sports.
Dr. Bailey Minor
Dr. Minor joined Circle C Animal Hospital in 2024 after earning her DVM from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. She also holds a B.S. in Animal Science from Texas A&M, which she completed in 2020. Born and raised in Central Texas, Dr. Minor is delighted to return home and contribute to the well-being of the pets and people in her community.
Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is the ability to build lasting relationships with both animals and their owners. Dr. Minor’s approach is marked by her genuine care and commitment to providing the best possible care for her patients.
When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Minor enjoys reading, hiking, cheering on the Aggies at sporting events, and spending time with her fiancé, Trevor, and their cat, Peter.

Homer
General Tso
General Tso was originally found as a stray in New York but was brought to CCAH in 2016 to join the family. He can always be found greeting the clients and other kitties of CCAH. He loves to be cuddled, so if you stop by, be sure to give him some love!
Huck
Huck came to Circle C Animal Hospital in June of 2022 as a kitten. He has done a great job keeping the staff on their toes, and he also keeps us laughing. He has not met a patient he doesn’t like, even if the feeling is not mutual. His special tricks are opening doors and stealing snacks. Many of his antics can be found documented on our Instagram page.

Homer
Clinic Resident
Homer was adopted from a local shelter in April 2010. Homer loved all the clients and all of the attention he received. Unfortunately, Homer crossed over the Rainbow bridge in 2021. We miss his sweet orange face every day!
